Tulip Festival in Wamego, KS

Over 10,000 Tulips and 150+ Vendors will be in Wamego, KS this weekend for the annual Tulip Festival in Wamego, KS!

This is one of those weeks where I have been swamped at work and the blog is a little behind. However, I am so excited to share with you one of my favorite events of the year, and the best part, it is only about a month away. This year the annual Tulip Festival in Wamego, KS will be on April 15th-16th!

Every April the town of Wamego, KS welcomes not only thousands of visitors to their town but also over 10,000 Tulips blooming just in time for the annual Tulip Festival! Visitors will enjoy a rainbow of vibrant colors that fill Wamego's City Park and downtown!

Wamego City Park

Make it a day trip to Wamego and while you are there take in the variety of downtown businesses. You can take a tour of the Oz Museum or enjoy the tasting room at the OZ Winery. As you are exploring Wamego, KS you will find the various Totos to take your picture with, my favorite is the Toto on the Yellow Brick Road!! Then stroll over to Wamego City Park to take in all the vibrant colors of the blossoming tulips!

In addition to the thousands of tulips that bloom for the Tulip Festival in Wamego, KS. Visitors can peruse their way through over 150 food and artisan craft vendors, and enjoy the playgrounds, inflatables, petting zoo, and so much more!

Visitors can also enjoy the playgrounds, inflatables, petting zoo, and more! Take a ride on the park's mini-train and then enjoy walking through the Prairie Town Village, Historical Museum, and the old schoolhouse, and finish at the Schonhoff Windmill! The Schonhoff Windmill was brought to the park brick by brick and used to be a working grain mill until its relocation!
