When I say we eat a lot of salads in our house, I mean it. They might not be the healthiest, but we try!
Since we eat so many salads, I am constantly searching for inspiration as well as new recipes to try. If you follow me, then you already know I follow the food blogger extraordinaire Gaby Dalkin. She has some of the most amazing dressings and sauces to spice up any dish. There is not a huge difference between the two recipes. I just don't ALWAYS have fresh jalapeno's on hand and I like a little more garlic and a kick of chili paste in mine. Instead of adding a ton of ingredients to my shopping list, I found a quick and easy change to adjust the recipe to pack a little bit more of a punch.
We use this dressing on everything! Of course, it is great on salads, but we also use it as a marinade for steak, chicken, and even fish. We also like this mixed in with rice noodles as a side dish. If you are looking for more of a meal, just add your favorite protein, scramble some eggs, a few veggies, and dinner is served!
