Happy St. Patrick's Day!! Gosh, it almost doesn't seem possible that we are more than halfway through March of 2022. Where does the time go? However, here in Manhattan, we love to celebrate and St. Patrick's Day is no exception!
The town actually celebrates St. Patrick's Day three times. First, the college students prior to leaving for spring break descend on Aggieville and the surrounding areas for Fake Patty's Day! Then on the official holiday, March 17th the town does their best to enjoy traditional food and of course a green beer or two. Then, rounding it out on the weekend for the St. Patrick's Day Parade and Road Race!
Held annually in Aggieville, the St. Patrick's Day Parade and Road Race in Manhattan, KS was first held in 1978 so this year marks the 44th annual parade.
