One of the most beloved annual events is here, the Pumpkin Patch! This year marks the 48th Annual Pumpkin Patch Art and Crafts Fair in Manhattan, KS. In years past this event was held in Pottroff Hall in Cico Park, but this year the event will be held in Downtown Manhattan. This year the vendors will be set up along Poyntz Ave. and into the Manhattan Town Center, our local mall!
This year the event will be held on Oct 15th from 9 am to 6 pm on Poyntz Ave from 3rd to 5th street in Manhattan, KS. Hosted by the Alpha Delta Pi sorority this event is fun for the whole family! This event showcases the amazing talents and creativity of the vendors who attend. What many don't realize is the Pumpkin Patch Art and Crafts Fair is that it is put on by volunteers and also benefits Ronald McDonald House Charities in Kansas!
You will find a variety of woodworking, florals, baked goods, art, glass items, and so much more. Many use it as a way to get ahead on Christmas shopping since this allows you to purchase a variety of unique and handmade items. This year they are even having a pie-baking contest!
This weekend will be beautiful and a great time to enjoy the downtown area and then get home in plenty of time to cheer on the KSU Wildcats for their game Saturday night! To keep up with the Pumpkin Patch announcements and the women of Alpha Delta Pi, you can find their Facebook link here!
