K-State Rodeo in Manhattan, KS

The K-State Rodeo is held every February in Kansas State's indoor rodeo arena located inside Weber Hall! The K-State Rodeo is also one of the largest student-run events on campus!

If you are driving past Manhattan Fire Dept on Dension you might have noticed some unusual four-legged animals using the crosswalk! Now, if you were wondering what was going on, wonder no more because it is time for one of our favorite events, the K-State College Rodeo in Manhattan, KS! While rodeo might be your first thought when you think of college sports, clubs, or events but at Kansas State University, it is! For more than 75 years the K-State Rodeo has taken place in Manhattan, KS.

The rodeo is held every February in Kansas State's indoor rodeo arena, Weber Arena, located inside Weber Hall! Competitors will come from all over, Fort Hays State, Wyoming, and more to compete against each other. The K-State Rodeo is actually one of the largest student-run events on campus!

The Rodeo kicks off Friday night at 7:30 pm! Friday night will also be "Pink Night," with the mission to raise Cancer Awareness at the rodeo. Then on Saturday, there are two times for the rodeo, 1 pm and 7:30 pm, 1 pm Children 12 and under get in free with a canned donation and the purchase of one adult ticket. Saturday evening is "Pack Weber with Purple" for the evening rodeo! Then Sunday, honor our military with "Military Appreciate Day" and show off your red, white, and blue!

Tickets are required and you have a few options for purchasing! Buy ahead at one of the five businesses; Call Hall Dairy Bar, YeeHaw Outfitters, Outpost Western Store, Orsheln Farm and Home, and MHK Play! You can also purchase tickets at the door, but those are first come first serve so once Weber Arena reaches capacity that is it!

This event is so much fun and a very unique experience for those not familiar with college rodeos, or rodeos in general. These students put in so much effort which makes this event one of my favorite things to support and also attend. I hope you will be able to make it to the rodeo, if you do let me know, and tag @thelittleapplelife and the K-State Rodeo Club in your photos and videos.

Most importantly, have so much fun cheering on the cats!!!
