The "Green 1950" mural is a recreation of an original painting of Green, KS by Donnie Appleton.

One of the two murals in Green, KS is named, 'Green 1950.' This mural was painted by Whitney Kerr (K.C) and Mike Trujilo (L.A.). Painted in 2021, this mural is a recreation of an original painting of Green, KS by Donnie Appleton. The mural is located on the Twin Valley building just across the street from the city hall and museum.
