I am a HUGE fan of food trucks! As far back as I can remember, I always have been. When I first noticed a new food truck in town, I knew I had to go. Honestly, I think I lasted a whole 24 hours before I just had to try it! Frida's is authentic Mexican cuisine and it is so good! Frida's food truck is located off Third street across from the Peerless Tire in Manhattan, KS.

Their slogan is, "The True Mexican Taste." Frida's menu offers customers the unique flavors of Mexico. Ordering at Frida's is easy, you can either order when you get there or you can order through their Facebook page, pay, and pick up your food when it is ready.

The first time I went I asked the staff what their favorite thing was, they told me the Torta Paco with Chicken Milanesa, their recommendation was good enough for me. The sandwich was huge and the green salsa took it to a whole new level! I really think I could drink their green salsa. I also ordered the refried beans, their beans are homemade and another must-try when you go!

When I first went to Frida's, I asked the young man taking my order what his favorite thing was on the menu. They recommended the Torto Paco with Chicken Milanesa. As soon as I took one bite I knew why they recommended it and I was hooked!

I have since gone back several times and every time it has been excellent! Everything on the menu is scratch-made including the corn and flour tortillas. The Taco Dorados are tacos that have been deep-fried and covered in lettuce, tomatoes, avocados, onions, queso fresco, and green salsa. When you are craving tacos they are a perfect spin on the normal tacos we are used to.

Frida's Gordita's, come with your choice of meat, cabbage, sour cream, Queso Fresca, and green salsa. These were different then what I was used to, but I would totally get them again. The homemade tortillas are just so good they keep you coming back for more.

Frida's Chocoflan is one of the best desserts I have ever had! I ordered it on a whim and now it has become a must-have every time I go!

The latest addition to my order is the Chocoflan, OMG!!! As a whole, I am not a fan of flan, but this combination of flan and chocolate cake is out of this world! I am not exaggerating when I say, I have added it to my order every time! You can also order entire cakes for your family gatherings if you want to bring something special for everyone to try.

I hope you enjoy Frida's and all that she has to offer. As I am working my way through her menu, let me know your favorites so I know what I NEED to try next!
