The highlight for everyone is the apple pie! For the history buffs or Kansan, that last name will be very familiar. Libby is the wife of the famous General George Custer who resided at Fort Riley from November 1866 to Spring 1867.
Libby's Apple Pie recipe is still followed today by volunteers to are busy chopping apples, mixing spices, and rolling crusts to make this happen every year.
