Manhattan is sometimes overshadowed by some of the larger counterparts in the state, our vibrant city boasts a unique charm and a wealth of attractions that appeal to visitors of all ages and interests. One of the city's most prominent landmarks is the Wareham Opera House. Rising high above the buildings of Downtown Manhattan, KS, the Wareham Opera House has stood in the heart of Manhattan, KS since 1925. Over the years it has taken on many purposes in town, but "the Wareham," as it is known to locals has always been a place that has connected our community.
