I first came across A & H Farms at the Manhattan Farmer's Market. We tried some of their pickles and a few other canned items. To a certain extent, I fancy myself a pickle connoisseur, and let me tell you, their pickles were excellent! Honestly, everything we bought that day was wonderful and we knew we needed to get more. Little did I know my Facebook feed was able to tell me how popular A & H Farm is in town! I had no clue they have so many fun events and good eats out at their family-run farm!
I mean, I knew A & H farm was operating year-round, I just didn't realize that they were open to customers as well at the farm. I thought you had to wait for the Manhattan Farmer's Market. Boy was I wrong! There is always something going on at the farm or you can stop by their store and pick up any of their fresh produce, canned items, and more!
This Fall you will find fun activities for the whole family. Now open is their Fall Festival that offers hayrack rides, an apple cannon, a petting zoo, and more spread out across the farms 10 acres.
The A & H Farm pick your own pumpkin patch is also open and one of their biggest events each year! While out at the farm you can grab snacks like their kettle corn or apple cider donuts and have a fun day exploring the farm! Oh and for the grown-ups, they have adult drinks to enjoy, let's all welcome their new wine slushie!
In the Spring you can find tons of fun as well out at the farm. Welcoming the new babies at the Baby Animal Festival gives kiddos and grown-ups a chance to take in all the adorable new babies on the Farm! During the Summer you will find pick your own crops like strawberries and all the fresh produce you could want!
If you are not able to make it out to the farm, A & H Farm has made it super easy to pick up some of their fresh produce or canned goods. All you have to do is go to their website and shop their farm-to-table produce boxes and more! Pick-up your order is easy, just head to the Manhattan Farmer's Market on Weds or Sat!
Heading out to A & H Farm is easy, it is located just a couple miles south of Manhattan, KS. As the weather is changing it is perfect to head out and grab the last few harvests of fresh summer produce and then take the opportunity to explore the Fall Festival and all it has to offer!
